I saved the Ballons!

I was at a Halloween

Parade

today. I was standing eating fried dough with Richard when all of the sudden this BIG bunch of giant ballons came flying at me!! I managed to reach up and grab the strings before they flew far, far away! Everyone around me gave me a round of applause, and someone even said to "take a bow" which of course I did!

The man at the cart said I could pick one from the whole bunch, so I picked a giant Blue Care Bear!!!

BIG raise!

I got a 2% raise today - which equals out to $.22 or $5.28 a week (I only work part time) WOW!! What am I going to do with all that money!?!??!

I have to start making more money.....

I am ENGAGED!!

I got engaged last night!!!

He was so sweet about it.
He surprised me by being here when I came home from work, with dinner and dessert.
Then, he had me close my eyes. He said "now, I got you a BIGGER ring than what we picked out, and a few more carrots" I opened my eyes, and there was a GIANT ballon RING that said "marry me nancy" and a bag of CARROTS

on the table! He is so funny!

is really pretty, and it is the diamond that was in my grandmothers ring.

Extreme Makeover - HOME EDITION!!

Well, I had a touch of fame today! They are filming one of my favorite shows not to far from me in Medfield Mass. http://abc.go.com/primetime/xtremehome/index.html I didn't get a picture WITH Ty Pennington, but I got pretty close! My cheap digital camera thought just didn't take them fast enough for a great picture - and he moved pretty quick, plus lots of folks were trying to see him too!
I hear the show will air on December 11th.
