August 30th

Married life produces a heck of a lot more laundrey than single life!!! I am going to have to stat buying the bigger bottles of detergent!
Life is going well, although I am bored at night. Richard is back to work, and I don't start until the end of September. I have my Tae Kwon Doe, although I haven't gone this week! Back to a regular schedule next week!
We started working on our thank you notes - lots of them to do! but, if we just do a few a day, then they will get all done right?

Home from the Honeymoon!

Richard & I are safely home from the honeymoon! One piece of my luggage decided to take an extended stay in Rome, but it is back now. =)

We had a great time. Nancy did get sick one day, and we were banished to our rooms so we wouldn't spread out germs. Richard was a trooper! Even though he wasn't sick, he had to stay with me the whole time. Poor guy!

Now we are settling in to home and trying to find a place for our great new things!

having too much fun!

no, we haven't fallen over board, we just ran out of internet minutes!! We are in Malta today - at an internet cafe. We are having lots of fun - there is so much to see and do everywhere. I may not get a chance to write again until we return. I hope you are all doing well!

oh what day are we on?!?!?

Well, I know it is SUNDAY! but I don't know what "day" of the cruise it is. Having too much fun to keep track!!
Today we were in Barcalona, SPAIN!!!! We took a tour of the city. It is very nice. We went to this church, that has been a work in progress since the late 1800's! It is being privately funded, so they don't kknow when or if it will ever be done! We spent some time on our own, and saw some very cool street perfomers. Richard was going to take a helicopter tour, but there wasn't enough people signed up, so it was canceled. =(
We are back out to sea tommrow!

Day 4?

Today we arrived in Florance! (well, about 1.5 hours from Florance!!) We had to get up at 5:45 so we would have time to get ready and eat breakfast. The bus ride was LONG. We we stopped for a rest room break, it was RAINING! Nancy bought an umbrella - but she did end up needing it. We had a nice walking tour of Florance - and a nice lunch in what I (Nancy) think use to be a castle. We had a few "rowdy" folks in the crowd, so they made the trip in the bus kind of fun. After that we headed off to Pisa - we didn't have time to climb the leaning tower (would I have wanted to anyway?!?!) But it was nice to walk around. We are pushing off soon, then it will be time to EAT! =)
Day at sea for us tommorow!

Day 4

Today we had a few things we wanted to do in the AM before the boat docked. I stopped into the Crafts, while Richard went back to the room to get something for the art show. He was suppose to find me, but ended up in the wrong area! (I was in the "panio bar", he was in the room with panio, but no bar!) But, we did manage to find each other in time for lunch. We took a bus tour of Montaco, which is very small, into parts of France - including Nice. We made one small stop along the way at a little town with shopping area. We did NOT go to the Casino in Monte Carlo however. 10 Euro to get in, plus a dress code! Too swanky for us!
we took a swim in the pool and hot tub tonight. now off to dinner then a show.

Day 3

We had breakfast in our hotel - it was included in our price - very nice. Then we took the hotel shuttle (also included in the price which was great because we met someone that said it was about 55 Euro to the airport) We then got on the bus to the cruise ship. It is now 1pm. We got here about 12noon or so and had some lunch. We checked out the spa - Nancy is going to get some sort of treatment of course. Here we are at the internet cafe now! Off to our room soon!

Day 2

Day two in Rome. We took a double decker bus tour - one of the kind that you can get on and off everywhere. We got off at the Fountain of Trevi - saw that, got some Gelato - then went to the spanish steps. Nancys said "I think we should go to that main street" then we saw a hand made sign pointing down a different road, so we followed that. That was the last sign for that! So we wondered around a bit. Then Richard said "let's go this way", Nancy said "I don't think so", but we went anyway - Richard should have listened to Nancy!!!! =) On the way back from the Spanish Steps, we went the same way we came (Minus Richards extra turn) we were just about back to where the bus was, we noticed, that if we had gone to the main street in the first place, we would have been right to the steps! (sigh) Oh well, we had fun anyway!
We went to the Colosium (sp?!?) and we were hoodwinked by a tour guide, to pay "a little extra" to get a great tour and avoid the que (line) - plus he said there were no tours inside, and no "sinage" explaning things. Well, we did it. The tour guide went to two spots, and blah, blah, blah - the whole time! It ended up we COULD get tours inside - for much less than what we paid, AND there were signs! We went back to the guy that signed us up to complain, in the hopes of getting some sort of refund, but no such luck (Although Nancy did feel much better that she at least TRIED!!!)
We had a little rain today - and some thunder and storm clouds.
We saw some other things as well (but I am actually writing this on day 3, so I forget just what it was now!!) =)
